Those were the years of PUNTO ORO (gold-coloured staples) – a commercial idea that met with an explosion of approval from the public.
And those were also the years in which Maestri began to open up its horizons towards foreign markets: consequently, the Company decided to establish a manufacturing unit in Greece, a market where it today holds a very prominent position in the field of office products and fasteners in general.
Finally, in the seventies, Maestri became the first company to develop a special technology, which led to the manufacturing of the BRAD fastener – a small-headed nail fired by SENCO tools (or similar pneumatic devices) – which received enormous consensus from the market.
