Greek English Italiano Romeo Maestri
History

At the beginning of the thirties, after having worked with his father (the founder of the Company) in the preceding decade, Bruno Maestri decided to make use of all his acquired experience by introducing a new diversified product.
He began to be interested in office staplers and so launched the RO-MA (Romeo Maestri) stapling plier, followed by TENAX and PROTOFIX desk staplers.
In the same period, the 126 staple appeared on the scene. So, the year 1933 saw the birth of a staple that was directly manufactured by machines designed and developed by the Company.
In the meantime, the Company’s head office moved to via Vincenzo Foppa, where it remained until the year 2000.

But the most important product that came to light in that decade and, more precisely in 1939, was the PARVA stapling plier. This plier’s modern design which, combined with its solidity, was to prove an immediate success and still holds a prominent position in its own specific market section.

Along with the PARVA stapling plier, Maestri started manufacturing the staple 64 - the first of its kind to be packed 2,000 pieces per box - designed to be introduced into the stapler in long strips to avoid frequent loading.
